While I would tend to agree that Costa Del Mar’s warranty and customer service leave a lot to be desired, I personally haven’t had to use either.

When I’m down at the coast, that’s pretty much all I see. 90% of tournament fishermen and professional guides are using them. Unfortunately, 95% of the frat boys at UT also wear them.
No personal experience with the brand... Ill be sure to check them out. Thanks

Oakley Jupiter Squared...love Oakleys wanted one for so long. Unfortunately, I wear glasses so only after I recently bought contacts did I get a chance to buy a decent pair of sunglasses.

Didn't mean it they way it probably came across, I've just had them so long I didn't know anyone wore them anymore. Shows what I know!

The optics are great though I always thought they're a bit on the heavy side for all-day wearing - compared to say a Maui Jim which feel like a POS but are so light you hardly know they're on.

Oakley does have pretty good optics. I just feel that even with their lifestyle designs it still looks a bit too sporty. For some reason I only match with Ray Ban or similar styles/brands. Even with Maui Jim I must have tried every single design they have and finally ended up with one that I liked.

Yup, I had the light blue lens ones. I liked the fit and style.

I will take a look at Luxottica.

I tried some guys on last year during an sf bay boat cruise. They were money. Very nice optics.

It's good to support the non luxottica, independent eyewear folks!!
