Wakeboard Boats???
Looking into buying a new wakeboard boat for me and the family to get out of this heat and spend some time on the lake!! Good reason for me to drink more beer and have a good time in the water...
Anyone have a wakeboard boat?? What are your comments on your boat inparticular? Looking at the Centurion air warrior Elite right know seems to be the best bang for the buck nice boat for low 40's!! Anyone know anyone selling one similiar or know where i could get a deal let me know??

From what I've heard they're great boats. My guess would check out boat forums. But I'm sure you're already doing that.
I never got a chance to wakeboard, but I use to be out at lake every weekend with my dad and friends skiiing, kneeboarding, tubing. I love the lake. |

have you considered Moomba? My buddy runs a Moomba Outback, I've been out on it wakeboarding a few dozen times. I've done the maintenance as well, very easy to work on. Outstanding boat. Don't skimp on the engine, and definately go for the overhead rack.

your better off spending a little more and getting one of the better boats. Malibu , Correct Craft, or supra.
in that order. of course my opinion. Malibus are awsome, go chekc one out.

well the reviews on the boat are actually top notch there is not one bad review about the boat..I could probably go with a used malibu but then again its the same price and NO warranty!! Not sure if many people will finance a used boat either..

there are a lot of boats to chose from out there, thats jsut my opinion, but if you look around and ask people that are into wakeboarding, you will see that there is some top boats. of course if you ask someone with a particular boat they usually say theirs is the best, lol. anyway I dont have any of these right now, just for the record. I almost bougth a supra, but decided to stick with getting a malibu, you really need to look at all the boats, and compare them fro yourself

Dude Tyler, BUY USED!!!!! Do not buy one of these boats new. There such a rip. They change hardly nothing yearly. My buddy is big time into wake boarding and swears by Malibu and Ski Nautique and one other I can't remember. Both boats he's got he's bought used and never had a single problem with either. You just got to do a little more shopping, thats all. Just try to stay semi-low in hours and you'll be fine.
Also the overhead mast is a must. As well as speakers. When I went to Nashville to visit him last month he just got his new boat for down there and he didn't have his speakers yet. I kept calling his boat "the broke ass boat" of the lake cuz everyone else was pimpin and we had no speakers I'm heading to pick him up from the airport now. I'll rack his brain and make him post a reply for you on what to get and what to look for. Stay gay.

You can spend a fortune for a Malibu or Criscraft or something along that line. Used may not be too bad for any boat, even the Moomba. As for the warranty, if the owner has the maint records, and you can have it looked over, there isn't nearly as much to go wrong in a boat. Obviously the boat needs to be maintained, but it's not like your bimmer with quite the number of things to go bad. If it's running an inboard engine, there isn't too much to mess with.

tyler, this is adam, g-gay's friend.... I feel there are a few things you should know if you're serious about boats.... its not all about the engine. Sorry. Its all about the wake. Soft, firm, ramp, lip... etc. You've gotten some good advice, but let me say, the big three are in my opinion the way to go -- Correct craft, malibu and master craft. Master craft is hands down the most expensive, but like your BMW - has the best service and nicest components. Correct craft was the leader all through the 90's till about 05. In about 04 Malibu made a boat worth buying - the VLX. The difference in the price is due to the fiberglass, I can talk about this for a long time, but know malibu's glass is cheaper. If you PI gar he can give you me email if you want to talk prices you should expect to pay. Ive bought two and can talk you through it. As far as some of the other companies.... American Skier makes both Supra and Moomba, same boat, buy the moomba, dont pay for the name supra. Tige and Centrion make shitty boats that make shitty wakes. Sorry, the wake sucks and the boat falls apart 5 yrs after you buy it. Sun and water are hard on boats - research and ask lots of questions before you buy. Good luck and have fun!

point made in preivous post. wake that you want is what you need to know also. correct craft rampier wakes, malibu smoother wakes.
neither is better wake. if you alreayd wake board, then get a pull behind some of the different boats your looking at. better yet get a pull behind the exact boat your looking at. The seller won't have a problem pulling you. In the wake board arena everyone pulls everyone all the time anyway. its all good. good luck. let us know what you decide, on.

depending on options, but no that sounds like a hell of a deal. thats probably a 60k+boat. 180 hours is low for that boat too. what options does it have?

Id offer a little less, but these boats hold there value rediculously. That boat looks nice, and with only 180 hours. I don't think they listed the boat many places or I think it would have sold already.
