Favorite beer?

I grew up in Alaska and there are some fantastic beers that come from the pacific northwest region. Alaskas best beer IMO is the Amber Ale by the Alaska Brewing Co. My favorite beer of all time though is Mirror Pond Pale Ale by Deschutes Brewery out of Bend Oregon. Being stuck in the armpit of America that is upstate New York, fat freaking chance of getting it here though lol. There are some okay brews from around here, but nothing to write home about. Anyway, what beers do you guys like?

Apologies. I'm pretty new here and didn't see it posted previously.
Where do those beers come from? Also, interestingly enough, IPAs give me wicked indegestion and heartburn. No idea why. Anyone else experience this too?

I get that same thing from unfiltered wheat beers.

I'm more of a local brewery kind of guy. I'll try a different beer where ever I am at the time.

I guess I'm spoiled from my 4 years in Germany...

2 of my favorites for everyday drinking. Both go well with meals too.

Also, not typically a fan of large scale mass produced beer. But Newcastle is mothers milk!

I really don't have a favorite beer per se because there is so much great beer available in this part of the country. Being Spring, I really like Boulevard Tank 7 this time of year. It is a Belgian style farmhouse ale/saison.

I'm usually not big on IPA's becasue many try to go over the top with hoppiness. That said, Racer 5 from Bear Republic is one of my favorite IPA's. Its got the right amount of hops for flavor, and is surprisingly smooth as an IPA.

'Enough' , that's my favourite beer.

Tried a lot of beers, Warsteiner, Hertog Jan, Jupiler, Brand, but tbh I'm from Heineken country and I like it. A lot.

Cheers
Robin

Robin, Do they still have Heine's in vending machines for a quarter over there? I thought that was the coolest thing ever when I was over there.

Beer snob here, so great thread for me. Lots of good brews have already been mentioned. Fortunately I live by one of the highest rated breweries in the United States. If you happen to stumble upon anything brewed by "Cigar City" at your local watering hole or grocery store you can't go wrong.

Good to know! Our local grocery store chain actually has a decent beer selection from all over and I definitely remember seeing Cigar City. Ill try some for sure. Thanks!
