Tell me about xbox360 and IPTV, please!

Hi guys,

The whole xbox360 as a media center thing is kind of confusing to me. Or rather, the information sparse and in many places, i thought i'd ask you guys for your knowledge and/or opinions.

So, does the IPTV let me watch any tv shows? or what channels do i get? And, can i stream content from my computer to it? And, can i tell the xbox to copy the content (say a downloaded anime episode) so i can watch it later w/ the server computer off?

and does it cost money? and overall opinions of it!

Thanks! I'm debating whether or not to get a 360 based on this (and the games of course), and being able to ditch my tivo on my new hdtv setup.
