2019 M2 Comp - Questions please before I purchase
Hi everyone, first time in the M2 forums as I'm in the market to buy an M2. Really looking to buy a 2019 M2 Comp with the S55, instead of the N55 model.
I saw one with only 800 miles and was able to bring it down to $52,000. Is this a good deal? Car fax is absolutely clean. It's also a manual. How is the manual transmission in these cars? Thanks in advance all. Attached a few pictures! |

I have been browsing low mileage M2 Comps for the past month and I saw that car on cars.com just the other day. It’s basically a brand new car and it looks really flawless judging by the pics. If you got them down to 52k that’s pretty good from what I have seen. If you can hold out for a week or two I bet you can get it lower. Nothing is moving right now and I have had a few dealers I’ve been talking to dropping more money off the longer I don’t move on a deal. Good luck man!

We sense it has a 6MT, but what else? Exec pack? Lets assume its a Exec and 6MT car, then around here you could get a new one for $56k. So, not the the best deal for a 2019 used even through mileage is low. But again, if these are hard to find for you, then go for it

You can transfer the free maintenance package to your name through your local BMW dealer for $200. I bought a 2020 M2C with 529 miles on if from Porsche dealer. Went to my local BMW dealer and had the 3/36k maintenance package transferred to my name. Had my engine and diff fluid covered just this last Saturday. Please don't take my word on this. Call your local dealership and inquire. That was my experience though
As to the price, I would try to get the black book value on the car to understand what the dealer actually paid for the car in trade. OR if independent seller what the dealer would be willing to pay him. Will give you better understanding of how much meat is left on the bone. The price seems pretty good for what I've seen on used market. I suspect in the next few weeks prices on all cars will come down more with what the economy is doing. |

A lot depends on your area. That is considered a steal out here in California. A similar car brand new with those specs (assumed specs) is easily 64k. I bought mine BMS, MT, Exec Pkg. for 59k and that was the lowest in my area.
