Great Thread!

I share others views so I estimate that > 90% of the posts irritate me. e90 should have a way to bypass threads with key words (e.g., color, age, etc.).

p.s. one complaint that I haven't read yet, that irritates me, is the one that thinks BMW is infallable in all respects (e.g., why are people disappointed with their Navi?)

We're all noobies once. I think most people have posts that could fall into these categories:

"How long is the wait until I get my car that I ordered?"
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17548
From Hawkshaw.

"Should I get NAV/iDrive?"
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32812
LedZep

"Is this a good price?"
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9175

"Should I get blacklines?"

"Does replacing springs void the warrantY? I don't know how to search."

"Who is on X boat?"

I am certainly not criticizing these members for their posts; looking back, I see I have pretty lousy judgment myself. Granted, some of these were posted early in the life of this forum. But the point is, please try to bite your tongue/fingers when faced with a noobie question. Peace.

Damnit!!! You have way too much free time!!!

In my defense, at that time (1+ year ago) there weren't as many threads about the alarm as there are now. Now there are tons....

The website population and knowledgebase definitely went up exponentially!! A year ago, this website was incredibly smaller than it is now..

I'll stop talking now.. :finger:

I finally found that post. It had 1 response and 186 views. No one knew the answer at that point!!

It was Jan '06. No one had them yet.. I think my defense holds up.

Well done though.. I still think you have too much free time. Maybe you could pick up a hobby or something??

I fully admit to my share of nOOb moments, but in my defense, the thread you've referenced was with respect to how long the actual pick up took (i.e, how many hours at the delearship to sign papers, review the vehicle with CA, etc). Not "how long is the wait until I get my car that I ordered", just for clarification...

That being said, I thought of a new "hated question" for this current thread...I hate when m*ther f*ckers ask about how long the g*d d*mn pickup takes!!!! Morons.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that anyone with more than 1000 posts a year has found something to diddle with in their free time other than shaved hampsters. I plan to stop at 999 each year and thus prevent my wife from accusing me of finding yet another hobby to keep from spending time with her. The curling really set her off, but it was only a seasonal sport so I am looking for something year round at this point. There is a good site dedicated to useless threads....this particular thread has hit number one!

Oh yeah, did I mention I friggin hate when useless threads go on forever...unless they go off topic then they can get pretty funny. Anyone have anything off topic to talk about. I'm officially highjacking all stupid threads and this one is at the top of my list!

When I am not at work, I am pretty swamped/busy. I never really post from home or on the weekends.. But at work? Eh, it makes the work day go by faster sometimes.. Why not..

Thank God....a reasonable man.

Yeah, if you can chew those f-ing things. I had one in my breast pocket while snowboarding this winter and took a bite and almost broke a tooth....and god knows I can't afford to lose any more teeth!
...and this was before the "incident" !
