Meanwhile BMW had record sales for 2021...

What is another year of maintenance mean anyhow? Just a free oil change more or less? Or is there something else specific they wanted to eliminate as a free service?

For me it wouldn’t likely change my mind on choosing another BMW, but it would likely make me consider changing the term of my lease (3 vs. 4 years)
Exactly. It is only the change in the free maintenance, reduced by one year and 20k km. So probably just the loss of one free oil change and maybe a micro filter. The warranty remains the same.

Usually more, brake fluid...and cabin/air filters...possibly plugs...and the loss of an actual year of warranty.

Is what it is...

I would never lease a vehicle for a period of time longer than the warranty. Mine now is as you stated.

JJ 911SC-Crusty Old Navy Chief...The warranty has changed..Do try and keep UP. I confirmed with my selling dealership and the one I use for service....If anyone its trolling, its not I...just posted fact...not previously seen.

"How long is the warranty on a 2022 BMW? Model year 2022 and newer are covered for a period of 3 years or 60,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first. Certain limitations apply. Contact your BMW Retailer for details. FOR THOSE WHO WANT IT ALL: SERVICE INCLUSIVE PLUS.

New BMW vehicles purchased from an authorized BMW Retailer in Canada are covered by a No-Charge Scheduled Maintenance plan for up to 4 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first. Model year 2022 and newer are covered for a period of 3 years or 60,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.

Warranty - BMW Canada"

Personally, for now, we will enjoy our bumper to bumper normal warranty till Feb 24...and the extended for the additional two years. Then who knows.

Feel free to PM me...we can meet for a beer next time i'm in Oddawa.

Oh well, they seem to be cheaper and cheaper.
Or they know how long the vehicles will last?…

Anyhow, screw BMW Canada!
Anytime you call, a retarded gets the phone and tells you nothing.
You don’t want to know some stories abou their customer service…

But BMWs move on this is just a shitty one that will bite back one day…

I stand by 4 years/80,000 Km for the warranty. Hopefully we will not have to use it.

From your link (photo posted @ # 30) here is the 1st paragraph:

BMW Canada Inc. (BMW Canada) warrants any vehicle imported by BMW Canada, or sold through the BMW Canada European Delivery Program, to be free of defects in material or workmanship. The warranty period is up to 4 years or 80,000 kilometres††, whichever occurs first, and begins on the date of first retail sale, or the date the vehicle is placed in service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever is earlier. Please see your authorized BMW Retailer for additional information on coverage and limitations.

Storming a good one here....and my M40i wife's rear wiper is no longer pumping fluid....

The revoir is full....It was just at the dealer for stuck grill things...'feck'...with four hours of travel..and just about the same to get anything done...I question my association with the brand more often than I did.

But do like the M40i overall and her indoors picked it...

Looks like another warranty run and full day wasted and another to take it back when the part shows up.. A few years ago...they would collect and drop off (a nice touch), but those days are done...I feel like calling roadside and saying come get it...

I see the Lincoln ads on the tube and think,"hmmm, that would be nice".
They show them (the dealership) picking up the car and bringing it back fixed. They even brag that feature in that ad.
I'm sure somewhere you pay plenty for that perk. Not sure if they bring you something to drive while it's being repaired or not.

BMW in my neck of the woods don’t even provide loaners…

No clue how things stand with Merc the only other German contender - 6 hours to my nearest Porsche dealer and that’s out…A Porsche nut friend ditched them fur his daily driver for that very same reason - he now has an M40i… and some kind of older collector Porsche soft top leaks a tad bit of oil all over his garage floor…
