New F80 Owner

Hello all,

I知 a recently new owner of a 2017 BMW M3 competition current mileage is at 87k. Car had 3 previous owners and I知 unsure of its history. The car did not come with 666 comp wheels. It has 437s. I知 fairly new to BMW in general as a platform so excuse any mistakes I make with my F80 lingo. I just drove the car kinda hard last night trying to get used to it and man is this thing a beast. Doesn稚 compare to my Infiniti Q50 I had it tuned to 415hp and I thought it was quick until I sat in this. I like to do my own work on my cars so any first mods/ DIY anyone can recommend will be appreciated.

I will hold off on making the car faster for now but I still want to do the crank hub. Is there anyway to know if the crank hub has been done previously?
The car does have some wear and tear so I値l be fixing some of those things like the start button is completely worn off. I値l be replacing that. Will also be doing maintenance on the car so any tips on using the Idrive, recommended parts/tools to use for service please leave it below.

First big mods will most likely be exhaust and lowering springs and wheels.
Please leave your recommendations for this as well or link me to threads where these topics have been discussed in depth. I知 curious if anyone has done a full exhaust from AA downpipe to axle back with all possible restrictions like hi flow cats and resonators and the sound of it. I would like to change it all out at once to avoid cutting the exhaust but I値l do it if I have to

Nice choice! Dunno what the wear is on your steering wheel but you might wanna look into these performance steering wheels:

Also, I'd recommend to definitely get the 2020 M4 GTS package coded. It's worth every penny and then some.

My steering wheel is actually in fair condition surprisingly it痴 only fading in one spot and it痴 near the stitching so it has some life left before a replacement but I will consider it once it gets worse. But first tinting the car to avoid anymore UV damage to the interior.

I知 new to the whole coding of BMW what does that do to the car? And can you code more than one option like the one you recommended? What do I need to code the car? Quick highlight of what that package gives to the car?
