I have actually had to deal with video game addiction at work...It's really sad. The kids exhibit all the symptoms of classic addiction. It's pretty amazing how serious they take it, and its true, not a lot of social interaction for them.

I think the first vid seems real... why would some kid who was acting try to stick a remote up his ass knowing it was being filmed? I dont understand how he throws the blanket over himself fully clothed and ends up in his boxers??

It's sad, for me I stop when.

1) I get angry at a game and start yelling in actual anger and shit.
2) When it's all I do
3) When people tell me.

I try not to get addicted but I've got an addictive personality. I usually stay away from "hardcore" during the school year because i'll get nothing done but it's sad that this actually happens.

Ahh the good ole days of UO. Your brother's situation (minus the catastrophic meltdown) was much like mine. All of these people saying that this video is surely fake have no idea what is possible when you are dealing with an online gaming addiction. I went through it when I was younger for about 8 years.
