Hey everyone and welcome to the new E60 section. We've opened this area for everyone and we will be continuing with our philosophy of having an open and free community to discuss anything and everything BMW.

As activity picks up we will be adding more forum sections such as more specific technical areas etc.. But for now feel free to post everything in the general area and we will sort out the threads as we break out new subsection. Enjoy your stay and let me know if you have any suggestions!!

Hello,

I am new to this forum, waiting for my first 2007 530i to arrive by ship from the US.
I was just wondering though if there were any difference in the body betwee the 2004, 2005 qnd 2007 BMW530i.

I own a 2008 535 xi Wagon and wanted to get other owners experience with the engine. Forgive me if this is old news but I am new to this forum/blog. Bought my car with 17K miles on it and have been in the shop 6-7 times with injector, software and fuel pump issues. Pretty much everybody I know who has one has had the same issues. BMW does not just fix the problem, they replace the parts as they break down leaving you on the road-literally. Am going aafter my BMW zone guy to either take the car back or give me a SIGNIFICANT extended warranty. Anybody else going down this road?

Hello,

I drive a 2006 525xiA Sedan in Titanium Gray II Met. (A36) with Dakota Gray Leather interior (LCAD) and Light Poplar Wood interior trim (437). It has the 17"x17.5" Star Spoke Style # 138 alloy wheels, and it has the Steptronic Automatic. It has the Cold Weather and Premium Packages. I bought the car as a BMW CPO from my local BMW dealership in July of 2008 with 29K miles on the clock, it now had 60K miles.

It is also my first BMW, after owning Jeeps for the past 15 years.

Have a 2004 525i with seriously yellowed headlight covers...the unit is sealed, and i was quoted $1000 to replace them...any ideas?

I have had for about a year and I absolutely love it, best car I ever bought its extremely stylish and runs great. I accidently stumbled across this site this afternoon, I'm glad I found it.

Hello,
I had e46 M3, trade this weekend for E60 550i with 70,000 miles on clock. M3 was a fun car, but time to slow down a little bit

, after couple tickets and accident.
I don't know much about these cars, but read there are more reliable, and 4.8L is much better then previous 4.5L(cooling leak under intake).
