+1 that dog appears to have 0 GSD in it. Perhaps it is GSD at heart? haha. Great lookin dog though!

I plan to get a GSD once we get into our first house; I'm not a fan of having a large dog in a 1100 sqft apt.

He's German Shepherd and Beagle mix we believe, it's what his papers say, but I got him from a shelter, so who really knows. He definitely has a shepherd tail and he's fairly muscular/ has very large teeth for his size, but his colors are very "beaglish". He's about 50 pounds.

I had a standard salt and pepper named Max and a black female min. That dog was smart as hell and was plenty manly. He would not back down from a bear. It was a scary day when a guy walking a German Shepard came into the yard while I was mowing. Max bit the poor dogs ear off.

I changed it up after their passing and now have a West Highland Terrier named Boo. He is awesome but has a serious attitude sometimes. This is not him but looks exactly like him and I liked the pic. I had a female Red Doberman years ago and really want another but feel one as a house dog, now in a townhome, would not be fair to the animal.

Dogs are awesome.

Labs are great. We've had Golden Retrievers and both breeds are what we want in a dog: great with kids, ALWAYS up for anything, happy, gentle, sturdy, eager to please.

And... they are so happy to show you their hunting skills!

Ok on second thought maybe a lab isn't a good idea, dudes biggest as sh*t, its like having another dude in the house wtf

I wish there was an injection you could give dogs so they stay nice and small

i'm name my dog gizmo lol, and it would be cool if the huskys howled instead of barked.

Peanut

This is Peanut - he's the stereotypical big dog in a small body. He's a Jack Russell/Whippit mix, which means a fast as hell dog with a Jack's personality. Luckily he's not neurotic like most Jacks, and he doesn't have a digging obsession. He's a very fun dog. Big enough to play rough with, but small enough to be the sweetest little lap dog.

My Staffie, pictured a few posts up, is fully grown at <35lbs and she is on the larger side for the breed. People always think she's a pit puppy because she looks identical to a 4 month old pit bull. She's incredibly friendly with people and gets along very well with other dogs. She would help a thief carry the TV out of the room if she could. She's never barked at a person or dog for any reason and most of the time she just rolls on her back to let a strange dog get a good whiff of her. Never barks, easy to train, great with people, and stays puppy sized forever. I can't think of a better breed!

He father-in-law got a yellow and chocolate lab. if those dogs were put together, they would not even be half the size of Onyx... He is already full grown and still got that child mentality.. hard dog to take care of..

anyways here is my brothers bulldog Anakin Vs. my sisters monkey bubs..

No such thing as a white lab. There are only 3 standard colors, Black, Chocolate and Yellow. Silver labs are technically chocolates at registration. White and Fox Red labs are yellows at registration. Yellow varies from white-amber red in color all are still yellow.
