"Failed to render file" errors on .MOV files

I've searched online & tried the suggested fixes, but I still get this stupid error on any .MOV file I try to upload to my PC from my SJCAM. It just recently started doing this after previously giving me zero issues.

Anyone deal with this & have a good fix?

Yeah, what editing tool and platform?

I usually find it's a codec issue with the software even though it's MOV, is there anything different about your file (like subtitles, effects)?

Also which cam do you have?

Windows. Nothing different about the files.
It's an SJ4000. This problem just started. Never had a problem playing these before.

I only ask as there are programs that could work to convert the file.
