Question Subway's cofounder pursued franchisees' wives and had a secret adopted child

Apparently the Cofounder is quite the Shitshow! 😳

No soups any more, sandwiches that are an explosion risk to make. Even in the company's prime, they were stingy with the meats compared with any local deli. I'll pass.....

Some of the best subs I've ever had were from Publix when I was working in Delray Beach, FL. about twenty years ago. I haven't been to Subway in over ten years. Even then the only sandwich I would buy was the Steak and Egg breakfast sandwich.

Publix also has the best bakery goods among standard supermarket chains IMHO. BTW, their chicken tenders are tasty too.

there's now a mango equivalent to the key lime pie - made in the same style, just with mangoes instead of key limes. so good

Ummm Mango key lime Pie from Publix is the best. I am one of the few people who lives in Lakeland that doesn’t work for them. Great Company, really do a lot for the local community.

If you haven't get a chicken tender sub, mayo, honey mustard, black pepper, garlic and whatever else, it's ridiculous.

I haven't had a subway sandwich in a while now that I think about it. I think Jim Gaffigan had a bit about their bread all tasting the same just being different colors/shapes.

There is an old general store I pass on my way to work, and they have a deli in the back with the best sandwiches. A "half" is $6 and is basically the size of a footlong and I have to break it into two meals it's so thick.

This story has been kicking around for a few years now if I recall, but really most fast food chains must be playing games with the food to get the consistency. How can a big mac taste the same in every single McD's on the planet without some kind of voodoo? My ex wife suffered IBS, couldn't eat beef but could eat McD's burgers without issue.
