I suspect leftovers.

The better half made a nice vegetarian enchilada casserole (tomatoes, onions, green chilis, black beans, sweet potatoes, and some corn tortillas). Very tasty. Okie has to get on the train to weight loss.

Part of my problem is she's a really good cook so I always want to go back for seconds.

Pretty pedestrian around here lately. Salisbury steak w/mushroom & onion gravy, mashed, and some steamed broccoli the other night. Lamb chops on the grill w/roast potatoes/yams/carrots and green beens w/bacon bits Sunday.

Sisters just sent my yearly Chicago food fix from Lou Malnati's, so tonight's going to be pizza and tomorrow Italian beef sandwiches, 'cuz we don't have room in the freezers for all of it.

Waiting for in-laws to arrive for Christmas Eve dinner - our traditional churrasco (tenderloin with chimichurri) + roasted potatoes + corn + black beans and rice for in-laws and my wife. (I’m a No Frijoles! guy.)

Just the wife and I this Christmas - no traveling with how close she is to her due date. Made a pot roast today, first time. Brussel sprouts and a holiday orzo salad. Everything was tasty.
