Dakar attack sounds alarm bells for saudi grand prix
I didn't say anything, but I worried about Lewis Hamilton wearing rainbow stripes in the Middle East. Terrorist don't need much of an excuse to attack.

At the moment a French Minister is considering whether to cancel this Dakar because of a suspected terror attack on a support vehicle in Jeddah with it's driver injured.

The rally went ahead after all and Al-Attiyah has won the Dakar in a Toyota buggy, his victory is chiefly down to navigational superiority over the others choosing better routes while others like Carlos Sainz snr and Seb Loeb made navigational errors and lost time.
A 20 year old French mechanic was killed in a support vehicle when he collided with a local truck. |
