I have this wheel
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/pr...ONTENTID=11867 I love playing GT HD(and GT4) on the PS3 with this wheel. It has an acutal 6 speed shifter, w/ clutch. Force Feedback is great, just make sure you have the wheel anchored down to a sturdy table. Not sure if it works with 360 though. But Ps3 has better racing games anyway. My 360 is mainly for FPS, in fact all my 360 games are FPS. |

and Games like Gears of War wouldnt port well to PC, the controls are made for Console. It's a shame GoW multiplayer was a huge dissapiontment. The Single player campaign was good, but very short. Now Rainbow Six on the other had has an outstanding single player and multiplayer. |

I actually liked Rainbow Six better than GoW. GoW certainly impressed with the graphics, but RSV had better gameplay...and the "cover" system in my opinion was better too.

I love how in R6 you just tap and hold the left trigger to go into cover. Cover system was very finicky in GoW, often times you hit "A" and nothing happens. Gears of War felt like you were controlling 1,000 pound gorrillas and ramming to the wall for cover. |

i dont think controls are the problem when porting to pc, from pc to console maybe, but from like 15 keys to 50 usually isnt a problem
trying to get shit to run on windows on the other hand, is a PITA

Get the XFPS keyboard/mouse adapter for the 360... it's $80 bucks well spent and is amazing. :rocks: I've had it for a few months and it is a must buy if you play FPS on the 360. You can use wireles KB/mouse combo's, but the unit is wired. I'm with you, no other way to play FPS.

I'm waiting for a 900 degree wheel for 360 like the Logitech one for PS2. Edgari, me love you long time. I'm going to pick up one of those puppies tomorrow.

Who cares about xbox when Burning Crusade is available!! Ha ha! Anyway, if you played WoW and have been contemplating whether to buy the expansion, do yourself a favor a grab it. In my opinion, it's better than the rest of the game. I've been playing it for the last three weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed myself, Blizzard did their homework and listened to the players this time.
If you don't have an xbox, for godsake's go get one!!! =D |

How did WoW players ruin RPGs forever?
I think its good that MMORPGS have become popular. Now i can play with my friends in an MMORPG, where as in a offline RPG i get bored to death. WoW is the first MMORPG that doesnt require you to spend 5hrs+ a day to play but still lets hardcore players have their fun. So if you want to play 5+ hrs a day, then yea you have the end game raiding. For just casual gamers there are SOOO many quests to do, esp in outlands, and you can do instances on the weekend or when you have spare time. |

the game is literally lvl lvl raid raid, try to get the best gear possible and be better than the guy next to you, and because of the ease of the game (there is NO depth whatsoever), the fact it came from blizzard, all the wow RTS fans that hooked into just because they are fans of the series, ECT it became super popular and is now a benchmark for all future RPGS companies wont fund the immersive RPGs that true fans of the catagory love because all they see are dollar signs, they want the next wow wow is a very simple flat game, whens the last time you used more then three or four abilities in a fight? they took a step in the right direction when they added some depth in the expansion, but not a big enough one

I'm not sure i'd really say that WoW is a RPG. If you want a RPG, play Neverwinter Nights 2, or even go back to Diablo, and even those games, the idea is to level, create a stronger character, and get the next great weapon. When Bioware came out with Baldur's Gate the idea was to level, right, but to also immerse you in the story. WoW just isn't that type of game; Warcraft 1, 2, or 3 have never been that way, and i don't believe Blizzard is trying to head in that direction. WoW has given me a game that i know lacks depth in making your character more personal, but picks it up by creating such a huge environment and giving players many facets to choose in which a person can solo, group, raid, pvp minigames, and create. The expansion has moved away from the 40-man raids, which in my opinion, were a little much. I didn't mind going and killing Onyxia (pretty quick and a fun event), but spending 6 hours in Molten Core and Naxx got very old. Blizzard has gone back to the smaller group quests and instances which in my opinion was where the fun was at, instead of waiting and hoping your 40+ guild members show up!
Look at the "few" games Blizzard has created....top notch. They will create another Diablo someday or a FPS starcraft...but WoW is where it's at now, and they are going to make sure that another company doesn't get in the way. With 2.4 millions in sales of the Burning Crusade the first day, Blizzard is doing something right.....it's called entertainment. |
