Cover songs

Not a huge fan of cover songs, they have to be done just right. Por ejemplo I like Van Halen's cover of "You really got me", GnR's "Live and let die" and Metallica's "On the road again"(just heard this on the radio), cover songs on steroids. Post up your favorites! or least favorites!

one of my all time favorite covers.

"Hey Jude" by Wilson Pickett and the all time great Duane Allman on guitar.

I'm not a big fan of the guy, personality, or image, but Marilyn Manson has some really good covers.

Also Alien Ant Farm's cover of Smooth Criminal was outstanding.

Almost anything from Jingle Punx.
Agent Orange's cover of the Dead Kennedys "Police Truck".
NUFAN's cover of The Misfits' "Hybrid Moments".
Against All Authority's cover of the Bangles' "Walk Like an Egyptian".
Squirtgun's cover of Elvis' "Blue Christmas".

I guess you have never been through rough times in life and use music as an escape.

As Time Goes By - Rod Stewart & Chrissie Hynde

Chrissie Hynde's attractiveness skyrockets everytime I hear her sing.

nobody will EVER be able to nail Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan.

BUT, this is the ONLY cover that I have ever heard that sounded decent to my ears, mainly because the greatest guitar player with that unmistakable voice covered it...

this has to be the GREATEST Cover of all time......

I bet 99 out of 100 people don't know that "All Along the Watchtower" was Bob Dylan's song

I will admit, Hendrix's version is just so much more dynamic and influential.

even Dylan said that when he sings Watchtower, he thinks it's more of a tribute to Hendrix

i'm a HUGE Dylan fan, but Jimi's cover is second to none......

I found out in 2003 after I got out of the Marines......

Knockin on Heaven's Door, the extremely popular song from Guns and Roses, belongs to Dylan too, but most people know that...

everyone covers Dylan. he's my all-time favorite.
