Very smooth yet flavourful. And you know I'm a diehard Rum guy.

It is called "Lime Rock Grey Metallic". It is a $5000 upgrade. I would never order it as while I like it a lot it isn't worth that to me. It just happened to be the only car they had with all the features I wanted.

Inventory of new cars is down IMO. Tried to buy a Mercedes GLE 450 but none to be had in Phoenix. Lots of 350s (4 cylinder) but a test drive convinced me they are modern station wagons for soccer moms and not the least bit fun to drive.

In truth the best car I test drove was a used 2019 X7 with the V8. Holy shit did that drive smooth and had balls. But, if I bought it I'd have to open the garage door to get around it to my golf cart. Too long. And the new X5 came with 1.90 % interest versus used car 3.29 and the used one was still more expensive. But it was a smooth car. If I needed it and had room I'd place the X7 right at the top of likes.

Sounds like we paralleled a lot this past week. Also grabbed an x5, faced inventory scarcity, tried many other brands including the Merc and refused to do 4 cyl things. Came right back to an x5. Went the couple years old route though. Nice ride, I like it.

I like my Rupes Bigfoot buffer so much I decided to get it a little brother - Rupes Nano for all those hard to reach places. I'm glad tomorrow is going to be a nice day.

Bought this grill today. Gets up to 700 degrees with ease, is well made, easy to put together and made in Canada.

Now that I have this expensive can of imported french fry gravy in my hands, I need to know how one opens it? Church key to punch the lid like an old beer can, or rotary disc can opener to remove the entire lid?????

Take the whole top off and store any leftover gravy in a sealed container in the fridge. Most of us won't have any leftover but you may want to take it a little easy what with your sensitive ticker and all.

Huge (literally) upgrade vs. working off laptop screen. I’m able to set the font size to 125% and still see more even with two windows open side by side. Or see all columns in most Excel workbooks if I use the whole screen. I wish I did this a year ago.

Just note that 700 degrees Canadian is like 400 degrees US.

Thanks - I'll be here all week.

I'm sorry but once you get beyond about 500 degrees you are no longer grilling, roasting or cooking... you are incinerating!

It’s useful for certain foods, like pizza (which, yes, can be made on a grill).

Yep some of the higher end steak houses use very high temps to cook their steaks. Sears the outside but doesn't overcook the inside.

I guess I should say that the 700 was just to cook off manufacturing debris as per the instructions.

Right, this can go to searing range which is how my wife likes to cook steaks.
