BMW To Install Tactile Mobility Sensing Tech In Every Model, Brand
Article: https://www.forbes.com/sites/edgarst...y-model-brand/
Tactile Mobility's software suite uses a vehicle's built-in, non-visual sensors to collect and analyze data to adjust some actions by the vehicle during certain conditions, provide service and maintenance warnings to the owner and as a means of storing that data in the cloud for further use by automakers and others. |

They say its anonymous and they say it uses non-visual sensors....but is this really true? Anything with the word "Israeli" tied to security and/or safety makes me skeptical.
Regardless, it should be 100% up to the driver to allow for any entity, outside of the vehicle, to be given the ability to interfere with the driving/handling/operation of a vehicle. PERIOD! So if this can't be easily deactivated by the driver, then there should be serious concerns. |

So when the car in front of you hits black ice and eats it...that car sends word of its misfortune to the cloud, which tells your car that there's black ice ahead, and brakes to slow your car down.
Meanwhile everyone else is already braking because we all see the car in front of us eating it |

BMW Bringing Back Steering Feel?
Saw this post about some new technology that's suppose to bring road feel back into the cars. Fingers crossed but I'm not getting my hopes up.
