Does it worth? 1979 BMW 320i $800
I saw a 1979 BMW 320i two-door automatic selling for $800. Is it a good price?

Man you gotta be kidding.
Is it in prime condition or a junker? What kind of answer were you expecting with so little info? Even if you were to write 4 pages of info, to make a worthy statement on the value of a car thatīs so old you have to inspect it thorougly. This thread is worthless right from the beginning....

I thought about it again after I made my last comment, and I realized that it's the year of 2005 now. And you know what? $800 is about right for a running or "needs-some-work-to-start" E21. I know someone who bought a non-running one for 400 bucks, did a few things to it and he's now autocrossing the car. You never know...

Thanks for the advise. The car looked in good shape from the outside, (paint, wheel, seats, etc.) I haven't reached the owner yet for detailed info. Maybe it's already sold.

a BMW auto that old will not function correctly
any car that old HAS to be a manual (not trying to get this all stirred up again, but older BMW auto's are not very reliable) |
