Does your laptop fan go off when typing a post (FIrefox users)
For the last few months I noticed something odd, my laptop cooling fan would go off at certian times. I've since narrowed it down to firefox using 40-50% cpu resources if i'm typing a post on VBulletin type forum. My CPU temp usually hangs around 45C but when i'm typing, it'll rise up to 60-65C and kicking my fan into high gear.
Only happens with Firefox, anyone have this problem? |

dell studio 1555. it's from 2009. i'd imagine it'd happen to any other laptop. i guess the question should be "does firefox eat up nearly 50% of cpu resources when you're posting/replying in a vBulletin forum"?

That would be insane. Google Chrome is better anyways
But in all seriousness, there is no reason Firefox should draw 50% of your cpu capability no matter what you are doing on the internet... |
