Everything wrong with our newest project car

We said we'd never buy another one of these, but here we are... Introducing the latest Evolve Project Car, an E63 M6 with the legendary S85 V10. Legendary for both the noise it can make and how unreliable it can be.

This M6 has 121k miles on and turned up on a recovery truck.... We've never even driven it! So just how bad is it? We get it in the workshop to find out if this is a great buy or a huge mistake.

The majority of the focus of this project is on the engine, the same engine in the E60 M5 so thought owners would be interested to follow how we get on with a higher mileage example.

Just did mine 2 months ago. Unfortunately, I just purchased an SMG unit as well. Let's just say we are now married.

There is a low mileage M5 E60 for sale in the UK. It's expensive at £39k, is it worth a punt?

Not sure they will ever be an investment car, but if it's a car you really want and its a great example I'm sure you could negotiate it down.
