All kinda of gains in my eyes tonight! So SWOLE with all the scattered a** walking around. It's kinda funny to see a hot chick walk by only to see every guy stop what they're doing and we all look at the same time...you can hear a pin drop. Seriously I think my workouts are gonna suck this whole month

Decided to try a single dead after my squat bench dead Wednesday night workout and got a solid 445. Looking for 1200 lb total by June

Havent done single on bench or squat recently but bench usually 300 - 330 and squat high 3s. Looking for 400 - 300 - 500.

Solid as hell. 2 years ago when I was a little more concerned w/ strength I believe my tops were 365 - 305 - 465, so didn't make the 1200lb club. Now I just do your typical "bodybuilding" daily splits w/ cardio an abs, maybe I'll get back into the strength game when I get bored because having a goal like that an being close to it is exciting stuff.

Yeah I need to be working towards something or I dont stay focused enough. Last year goal was 405 squat and got there but thought of it as a destination and didnt keep after it so fell back after. Dealing with hips, shoulders, knees though so will be struggle. I need to pick a usapl meet and do it.

Saturday is my only day to be able to do fasted cardio due to my work schedule. I get up Saturday morning and drink some water with lemon to get my system going, get to the gym and do a little weight resistance before starting my cardio. Ten minutes in, this guy that has been a friend of the family comes up and starts talking my head off. I'm not sure how everyone else, but I go hard on my cardio, headphones in, loud angry music and focused. Most days I try to do HIIT but usually depends on how I'm feeling after working 10 hours. Saturday I had planned on just doing an hour straight. Normally on days that I do just a straight hour I usually go 4 miles and burn somewhere between 775 and 850 calories. This bastard talked to me for 20 minutes and I barely got 3.5 miles and just a little over 650 calories. I was pissed.
So my new annoying thing at the gym is people who want to talk to you during your cardio......or perhaps just people at the gym in general. |

We have a large mat to do ab work at my gym right near a turf area. The mat is probably 30'x20' so plenty of room. I was doing lunges on the turf followed by some ab work on the mat, the mat touches the turf where I was standing to do lunges, so I was essentially just sitting down right onto the mat to do my ab work. This out of shape bum ass trainer comes over like he owns the place, takes the area that I was using to do abs along with a third of the mat. I mean come the fuck on I was the only guy on the mat and I'm standing literally a foot away. Then to further piss me off by incorrectly instructing someone how to do ab work by adding weight when they don't even know how to do the movement properly without weight.... I proceeded to sit down in the same spot I was doing my ab work previously, I was basically on top of them, all pissed off and continued my workout. Didn't say a word, they eventually moved.
