Seiko anyone?
Grand Seiko Hi-Beat GMT Caliber 9S86 Reference SBGJ019. The black dial goes quite nicely with the black interior of my G12. I like GMT watches.

A closer look of the Hi-Beat and Batman. They are both very nice.

I have got a couple of Seiko watches ,this one is Grand Seiko . It's a great watch aside from cheap push in insert tube links which aren't "Grand"

That GS Looks amazing. I am a Seiko guy but own nothing over Landmaster (3 of them)
I have one of the first run Stainless Landmaster "AutoQuartz" a second run AGS Landmaster and a Landmaster Titanium AGS, not to mention a few others.

I currently have a Grand Seiko SBGJ017 (the OP's model but cream white dial, GMT 36000vph), a new Turtle SRP777J(apan)1 and since 2 weeks a new Prospex re-edition SPB053J1, next to my 116600 Seadweller.
Cheers Robin

Thanks for posting these. I love Seikos - daily is a 007, and I just got a blue lagoon samurai (still haven't had time to try mastering the pin/collar to resize it). Especially for the GS, they are great for the sake of being great - not the 'lifestyles of the 1%' brand-halo (Like Wills said above, you won't find these attracting the name-chasers).

I wear a JDM SARG003 as a daily (pics from the interwebs...):
And I have a vintage Seiko Jumbo 6138-3002 automatic flyback chronograph: (actually I have 2, I could get one really cheap that needs a new crystal. Maybe I'll sell it or as a spare). Its a nice watch that despite its age has the size of a modern day watch (thats why its nicknamed the 'Jumbo' back in the days) And I also have a vintage Seiko 4006-7020 Bellmatic with the 27 jewel movement: (this one doesnt have the original bracelet but I couldnt find one with it, they're quite rare) I'd love to have a Hi beat seiko one day.

So I’ve had my sk007 for 1 week... and I’ve already bought a submariner bezel from yobokies. And a super double dome sapphire and vintage sub ceramic bezel for the watch.
Lol At some point probably change out the hands too |

Also interested in the new Sla017 but it cost so much... even the sbl051 and 053 are like $1k. For that type of money I can get a Tudor almost. |

I’m looking at a Seiko Sarb033. I want to add it to my collection of Swiss movement pieces. Any opinions, or suggestions on this model? Thanks

I never really bonded with the styling of the typical grand seiko watches. Checked out the Seiko boutique in NYC, so I got to handle a few and although certainly well made, they aesthetically didn't do much for me.
Having said that, their marinemaster watches, like the Tuna, is amazing. It's got a very unique look to it that I have not seen replicated by others. I'd love to own one of those, but I compromised and bought a Prospex SUN023, which has a unique case in the spirit of the Tuna, but much less expensive. I love it every bit as much as my pricier swiss watches. |

I have one of the original Seiko kinetics from around '96 or '97. I'd still wear it but styling is no longer to my liking. My Tag F1 gets worn the most.
