Active Steering problems AFTER mecanical work
Hi all
Anyone here familiar with ISTA can confirm that "ECO valve: fault" specifically refers to NOT receiving a "signal" from the ECO valve?? or could that message also relate to other issues, by any chance..? Any input would be appreciated guys... cuz i'm about to remove the alternator to get to the PS pump, AGAIN, only to check if I've connected that plug "properly" on the PS pump, and let me assure you it's "a bitch" to get there without a hoist! Thanx Y'All Last edited by Tabarnak; 02-29-2020 at 02:13 PM.. |

Well, if ever it can help anyone with the "ECO valve: fault" message in ISTA+
.. I can confirm the message was directly related to the wires/plug that connects to the PS pump (equipped with Active Steering). ... and if your wondering if your Active Steering Computer System is sending the signal to the PS pump's ECO valve, keep in mind that the wire is about 18" long before it connects into another plug right there under the hood !! I'll post a picture of the plug next time I open the hood to show you what to look for.. |
Appreciate
