Just ordered Breitling Navitimer GMT

So today i made final decision and ordered Breitling Navitimer GMT. Navitimer is my dream watch for longtime so finally i pulled trigger. I could not decide between Navitimer 01 46 mm and GMT which is 48 mm. I was afraid that 48 mm will be just too big but after trying in store (different color), it was just perfect. Gift to myself for my 40th birthday in March )

I think Breitling makes that chronograph caliber in house, that's a serious piece.

thanks guys

Yes, they make own in house caliber for this model.

I will post pictures as soon as i get them, it should take a week. They had white dial displayed in store but i wanted black.....

I was informed by few dealers that due to exhange rate Swiss franc/euro, prices of Swiss watches will raise by 20% in few days in our country, propably in all Europe. This was also announced in press in several newspapers so its propably true. This pushed me to order them now even i have birthday in March....

btw my first Swiss watches... I had few Eco-drive Citizens in last couple of years with similar design as Navitimer. Its big jump for me

I picked them up on Friday. I love them. The size is just perfect. I made comparison with my 2 Citizens Eco-drives which are 43-44 mms. Thanks to very thin edge, these 48 mms looks almost same. I am happy i took them over the Navitimer 01 46 mm.

Warranty certificate is piece of art. Warranty activation in store via online connection with Switzerland was cool

Beautiful watch! Thanks for sharing the pictures... And yes, the electronic warranty is pretty cool. It is new and I have the old paper warranty for my navitimer but for the Seawolf I bought this past summer, they did the electronic warranty activation.

Enjoy that watch!

Beautiful watch....I have a Navitimer World now but am picking up one of the GMT's next week. I was going to wait to see if they might come out at Basel (annual watch show in March) with a GMT that had the black face and black sub-dials....but after seeing the black face w/silver sub in person, it was just as beautiful (plus I highly doubt they will come out with the black/black).

I really think the Navi is the nicest looking watch there is regardless of price....even over my GMT Master II and Deep Sea.

Yeah, i always liked the Navi and classic look with silver sub-dials. I think Navi 1461 is full black and 48 mm but without 2nd time...
