Only per se and french laundry are at the price though.

Bouchon, Bouchon Bakery, Ad Hoc, Ad Hoc addendum are all cheaper. TFL was by far the hardest reservation I've ever made but memorable. The fried chicken at ad hoc is awesome!!

Brushstroke is a fairly well known 1 Michelin star restaurant in Tribeca, both of those factors = $$$. OP's tone is a bit whiny, which is why he's getting flamed. A random restaurant review without the backup details (japanese girl that looks younger than she is/date) would have sufficed better. Unless you're trolling us, then you win.
