I use it as a means to keep in touch with Friends, Family and Co-Workers, especially if I am deployed. I don't have people that I do not know of personally on my friends list.

this as well, if I don't know them personally, as in the amazing IRL. they're not on my facebook. 'acquaintances' dont make their way on there.

I have to agree about your work colleagues and I wouldn't neither if I had a civie job however all of my work colleagues are all of my military brothers and sisters (not literally) but we are all a close knit family hypothetically speaking.

The people who come in with their bibles and their highliters and study for hours a day make me want to drop kick their fucken mothers. Facebook is fun and can be a source of great entertainment ...Take what happened to me personally this morning :

A girl I have among my FB friends (she is a friend of a friend. I do not know her that well nor socialize with her and her family that much), just opened a chat with me saying the first words, "How's it going, stud muffin?" ....Well, knowing she is a married woman and that I may not be the subject her affection, I replied, "??????"

Within seconds, I see her getting off line without replying back.

Hahahahahhahhahahah

So, I am gonna send her a message and ask her for a date and see what she says!
