Tumbler/Batpod

This may be a dumb question but I was just wondering... is the 5,00lbs Tumbler/782lbs Batpod Supercharged? It sounds like it... or is that sound from the 6 propane tanks??

I remember somewhere reading about a prototype Cadillac engine in the Tumbler. I could be, and probably am wrong.

The sound of the batpod had nothing to do with what engine the production vehicle used. They used combos of synth elements and electric cars.

As a point of reference, about 5% of the sound you hear in a feature film comes from the production sound. Basically the dialogue is all you getting from when they shot the picture.

edit: I know what I am talking about...
