Ok, I'm betting my head, thinking what the hell went wrong!?
I have a 2008 528i, 200,000 miles (now)
Serviced:
Oil change
Replaced Coils and Plugs
Replaced Electric Water Pump, Thermostat, Expansion Vent Hose, and Expansion Tank around 190,000 miles
And recently bought a Foxwell NT 510 Elite
After having cooling issues still,
Read Codes 29DC, 2A82, 2A92, and 2EFF
I was more concern with 2EEF (my fan wasn't working at ALL)
Replaced Fan

So I clear codes and drive car a few more times
And 29DC, 2A82 and 2A92
Well, I needed an oil change and to tell you the truth car was running fine still sometimes it would shut down at stop light after getting off Highway but rarely.
Well, after oil change car shut down after getting off highway and started acting up and stop lights while idling.
Read codes 29E0 29E1 2A82 2D06
Appreciate any insight

* FYI
MAF reading was 2.9g\s
Took off MAF Sensor sprayed it with MAF Cleaner and sprayed around intake manifold and vacuum lines.
MAF reading got to 3.2g\s
So far no check engine or rough idling
Read no codes with Foxwell NT510

Where did you do those replacements? Could that mechanic tell you what those issues are? To have the car shut down (apparently for overheating) is a pretty serious issue.
Foxwell obd scanners don't tell you much at all, in my experience. Good luck.

BMW’s are REAL NICE when the car runs good!

It’s been a while,

And excuse me for not replying,
I KINDA wish BMW’s were like all other cars I owned ( Chevy,Ford, Honda)

For me, once I get my 528i running good, life continues!

Getting back to the original tread;
After the short, rebound and car was running fine, it started doing same thing stalling at stops and red lights!
All while the whistling sound was still going but when reading with scanner it was giving Vanos codes
And one thread hit it me check the oil filter for the cage !

WALMART NEVER PUT THE CAGE IN!!
When changing my oil.
And to make matters worse, car wouldn’t start
Changed Starter
Starts again,
And bought new oil filter cap with cage.

And now going through the forums and gettting ready to deal with VALVE COVER REPLACEMENT(DUE TO WHISTLING SOUND) CCV BAD
And Since IM WORKING ON the engine again!

Going to replace;
belt tensioner pulley kit
oil filter housing gasket

LIFE COULD’T BE ANY BETTER!
