Staggered rims on 2007 525xi!!!

Im looking to get as much info. on putting STAGGERED 20s on my 07' 525xi as possible. I heard good and bad about this topic. My question is.... if I put staggered 20s on, (20x8.5 FRONT 20x10 REAR) will it effect the AWD system? I heard you can BUT it may not be recommended, due to possible problems to the transmission? If anyone with "GOOD" knowledge of the pros an cons of putting 20 inch STAGGERED rims a 07' 525xi "PLEASE" reply with as much info. on the topic as possible!!!! Thanks to ALL.....

A buddy of mine installed the Beyerns Wrapps on his 2007 530XI and lowered the ride. He has no problems so far. 20X8.5 & 20X10. I actually rides really tight. Slight touching but that's due to the drop.
