Ferrari Vs Smart Car
Figure that would get some attention, who win in a crash a Ferrari 458 or a Smart Car.

Wow! That smart car got t-boned and came away in much better shape than the Ferrari! I suppose you could argue the Ferrari did it's job in terms of crumple zones protecting the passengers but that's a lot of damage...

Not surprised at all. There is not much forward of the front wheels on the Ferrari except carbon fiber and the smart car has a very sturdy metal frame around the passengers. If a super model and a house frau both fell down the stairs, which would look more beat up?

Oh man that's nuts. But I will not be making fun of smart cars anymore. Knowing it's made by MB it's not a surprise that it held up well. The article didn't mention anything at all about injuries, so hopefully both drivers were uninjured, at least not critically ( I imagine rolling over a few times you'll have at least some injuries ).
Not too Smart though, running a red light, hehe. Edit to add: Oh, and, that poor Ferrari! |

A front compartment that looks absolutely trashed is just doing what it was supposed to do; crumple.
