have any of you taken the DAT? I have it in 2 weeks and I'm freakin out... any tips?

I know there's a few dentists on the board that will help you out for sure.

I took the MCAT in June, so I completely understand what it's like to completely freak out. My best advice for taking a crazy hard standardized test would be to go in relaxed and confident. If you're nervous, your head isn't going to be in the right place. Just be confident and know you're gonna tear it a new one.

I'm taking the MCAT this Spring.....if you studied your ass off, you'll have nothing else to worry about after that because you know you did the best you could possibly do.

Took the DAT back in 2000 so not sure if the format is the same but loved the fact you got your score immediately after you completed the test!!
Like what others have said, if you put forth the time/effort to study for it you will do just fine. Think positive and try to remain calm, GL.

Wow that must have been nice! I had to wait over a month to get mine back. Worst time of my life by far! I can't even begin to describe how nervous I was to get my scores back!

Ya it was!! DAT was taken at a testing center on your own time so the results were immediate unlike the MCATs. After your done, you walk out of the computer lab and your results were handed to you by the moderator.
