I was picking up a cashier's check for the car I'm getting on Sat., and of course there is no charge for it, I'm a "gold" customer.

They didn't do a SAR on me like last time, because I was up front--hey, I'm buying a car. It probably helped to put the full amount on one check, whereas with the 335i, I asked for 3 checks, $9,999.99 each (what kind of moron would do that in real life?).

Feeling confident, I mean I knew the two bankers were mentally undressing me, I ask if I could get a hundred or so of those free basic checks, I'm running out.

The banker James told me they're really sorry, but my gold status gets me 50% off, or it's $9.99 for 50. I turn to Thomas, and he concurs. This really ruined my day and the way I feel about banking in general. I'll probably have to go home and take the day off to sulk. $10 for checks...

What a bunch of whiners.

My i8 threw a 2 codes last night. I had to take it to the $tealership without an appointment which meant waiting for an extra 6 minutes. THEN, they didn't have a loaner at first which tacked an extra 5 minutes to my wait because they had to get a vehicle from the sales department.

If you think that's bad, they just called me and told me that there are no spark plugs in the are for the i8 so they had to order them which will take a day or 2.

This means I'm driving a refrigerator white, 535i. It's ok, I guess, but it's no i8.

That VW doesn't have red / orange wheels. Debatable whether that was a downgrade. I'm just surprised they're all running.

I forgot to check remember me at the Lexus Drivers website. Not only did I have to retype my username and password, but I had to copy/paste the VIN twice.

I updated my iMac to macOS Sierra today and found the copy/paste between devices to be pretty cool. I can highlight/copy text on my iMac screen and then paste it right into a note on my iPhone, or vice-versa.

But now I can't think of a good reason to do it. I hate cool-but-useless.
