Input on lowering springs for street/track

A friend is a solo track driver and uses this car on street. What springs should he get? Will not get coilovers or aftermarket dampers yet.

I'm not a suspension professional but I would imagine buying just springs in the name of performance would be like replacing the tires only on the left side of the car. Its just half of the whole system. The stock springs are fine, just save for a proper coilover setup and do it right the first time imo.

I agree however he asked. Also, HAS.

None.

Springs + stock suspension will kill it post haste, especially if you're tracking it.

MPS or wish you had, your choice.
