Honestly though that's why I bought a bottle of a whiskey that a bar on campus comissioned. I got the 258th out of 300; the bar has been on campus since the 70s so at least 3-4 generations of kids has been there. They moved it (across the street from my apartment so I'm chillin) and this was like their hurrah.

LOL....I'm 45 although people tell me that I look around mid-late 30's.

As I said with those things...it started out as a hobby as I liked reading the books as a young kid. Then I had people and Family giving me gifts as BD presents, etc.

When I got older, I seen it as something I could collect. This was when the auction site was getting big. I would buy stuff from the 60's and up that were "Collector Editions", anything to do with the franchise.

1st edition books, Ornaments, China, Toys, anything that had to do with the "Peanuts Characters". I even had and still have limit artwork with certificates of authenticity.

When the creator of the comic strip died, those items shot up in value so quickly it was crazy. I had that one "Cell" from the early 70's that I think I paid about $400 for. IIRC...I sold it for almost $2K.

It's weird how stuff like that goes. I still have a walk-in closet full of stuff just sitting there. Most everything in unopened original packaging.

I haven't looked recently, but I'm sure it's worth a decent amount of money to other collectors!

I THINK this was my first cell too! I was maybe 20 or so? If it was not this one, it was VERY similar. I remember people talking about how "slim" it was LMAO!

I bought mine on either my 18th or 19th Birthday. The one thing i remember was having to pay £0.50 a minute to make AND receive calls.
