Last meals

Not to be morbid but if tomorrow was your last meal for any random reason (death sentence, medical health, donating body to science, etc)

What would it be?
It could be a basic description, it could be a famous chefs dish, it could be a specific restaurants dish….and bonus intra-points for pics of said dish!

I've never been to Peter Luger Steak House in NYC. I think I would like to spend the evening there. Who's paying for this btw?

After several gin and tonics and gnocchi allá sorrentina as an appetizer, a 16 ounce well-seasoned prime filet mignon with a side of whipped potatoes topped with cheese and baked, along with a great bottle of wine. I will need a few hours to get through it. Then I’d need to be put down before the reflux arrives.

Me neither, and I grew up here.

I know, I know. When am I picking you up?

Angry Lobsters! There was a place called Ponte's in lower Manhattan. They were there for years, unfortunately Sandy wiped them out. The picture below is the authentic Angry Lobster.

There is a local place not far from where I live that does a similar dish but it's just not the same.

The picture below is the authentic Angry Lobster.

There used to be a floating restaurant in Vancouver, Canada called the Seven Seas that had a seafood buffet. They had 52 varieties of fish plus frog's legs. Now if that wasn't the place for a last meal then I'm not ready to leave this earth quite yet.

Only been there once and probably never be there again because I hate NYC. That being said it was good, probably not #1 on my top steaks I've ever had but definitely up there probably #2. However as an overall experience probably #1.

My last meal would start with a P and end in a Y, has one vowel after the P and has 2 S's. It's not the cat version!

Bistecca alla Fiorentina from this one particular restaurant in Florence which I cannot remember the name of, but could find again if dropped off in Florence on a day pass.

Accompanied by some twice baked potatoes and a Caesar salad, and two bottles of a nice red.

Starter to the meal would have to be some snow crab and scallops in a beurre blanc sauce with finely diced cilantro and maybe a few other herbs.

Edit: Looking at map, I think it was Trattoria dall'Oste.

Honest answer: I would want a southern homecooked meal from my Mom.

Extravagant Answer: I would want King Crab Legs from Alaska Fish House in Ketchikan, Alaska. It's soooo good.

Smart Answer: I forgot where, but there's a Ramen spot where the only chef only works when a certain ingredient comes into season. I think it only comes into season and matures like a few months every 2 years or something. So depending on timing, i might get 2 more years.

Vengeful answer: I would ask for a tub of Ice cream. I'm lactose intolerant, so it would make it miserable for everyone else after i'm gone hahaha
