But you will already find out eventually anyways.

Do you need to know so badly that you are willing to lose out on motherfucking world domination? Or do you just want to be there to witness it... like cut the umbilical cord or something?

I wouldn't mind seeing the future, but I certainly wouldn't want to stay there, would probably be a broke dumb shit in the future.

Going to the past with present $$ and tech might be cool or you might get hung as a witch. Even best case scenario you become king of the fucking world... it's still a world with no AC, indoor plumbing or modern medicine... I'll pass.
You're right, I didn't explicitly state whether you could return to present day or not. I may have to change this up later to illicit some different responses.

Many of them were predictable such as knowing the future and betting on it, etc. A few were more heartfelt and not straight fantasyland like King Rudi's response which I appreciate.

BTW, I don't think you'll be able to go far back into the past with today's technology because you wouldn't be able to utilize it. For example you gonna use a computer before they existed or a smartphone with no networks to support it? You made me chuckle nonetheless with the hung like a witch (more like burned at the stake though).

I do wonder of what use if any we would even be to people from the past. I mean I could show up with my iphone and iwatch and even with no network I'm sure they would shit their pants just seeing the screen or the camera.

However I would imagine the first thing they would ask, if they don't burn you at the stake, is how does it work? And for most of us we would just stand there like dumb shits... huh....

I'm a witch bitch!

LOL, exactly! "I dunno, it just works" would be our response.
Their reaction: "Burn this motherf*cker!"

Easy. 1993. I'd go back to the day I met my first wife. instead of going out that night and meeting her, I'd stay in, happily buying a crap-ton of Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, etc. stock.

1) 1985 live aid concert in Wembley stadium and watch Queen perform the best live performance in the history of music. IIRC tickets were like $35 or something really cheap.

2) See the dinosaurs for sure.

3) October 9th 1604 to see the last reported super nova that was visible from Earth.

4) Industrial revolution time period.

5) The future in increments of 10 years to see how things evolve over time.

I'd take the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier and a full complement of F-14 Tomcats to 1941 Hawaii, and have a Mitsubishi Zero turkey shoot as they tried to attack Pearl Harbor. Oh, wait. Someone already did this as a movie.....

I'd also consider going back to 1964 when I was a junior in high school. There's a certain bully who's face I'd like to trash.

I'd go back and tell Franz Ferdinand to make sure he hired a competent driver. Can you even fathom how much of human history was changed on that day? It's mind boggling.

The prospect of going back and altering history is mind boggling.

Jesus was supposedly born in 4BC because they basically got it wrong when they thought of this calendar.

OK...so I havce mixed feelings about this idea. As a black man I'd be REAL selective about where & when in history I'd visit. LOL

My choices:

1. Ancient Egypt to see how the pyramids were built
2. Maybe Hawaii back before Pearl Harbor...no particular year
3. Back to high school in the 90's with my basketball skills I have now to build on. Then
I would make a push to go pro. Also living from there forward, I could right some
wrongs and experience some things I should have when I was younger. Make some
more sound financial decisions when I was younger as well.

Again assuming I can change some things in my past without negative impact on the world around me
