If travelling in our area, always make sure you have curd cheese and not that mozza crap lookalike and the sauce must be from St-Hubert. Otherwise, it's like a poseur wearing a fake watch.

Over 2,700 mg of sodium per can?!?!?!? I can feel my ticker seizing up from just looking at the nutritional info on the label. Not going to stop me from adding a few cans to my Amazon wish list, though.....

Thanks for the tip.

Looks like I can get a variety of St-Hubert products on Amazon. Is the dry mix as good as the canned gravy?

We do have cheese curds here, but I haven't found the good, squeaky kind yet.

Ah-ha! I was wondering if that was a regional delicacy. I found this on Amazon, so I guess you are off the hook for explaining yourself.

More St-Hubert goodness.

Never tried it but my guess and advice would be to use boiling water and use an electric mixer to get rid of lumps until smooth. Powder normally use a lot of starch as a thickening agent. Get the can.

These look like they have seasoned quite excellently. Although I decided on a more Mexican theme and went with Cazadores and Grand Marnier

Depending on if I decide to store in my truck, there may actually be some left for lunch. Oldest came home after umpire duty and has tasted the forbidden fruit, so probably not

Chicken Schnitzel with parsley potatoes.

Pounded thin chicken breast dredged in flour and egg, coated with breadcrumbs and fried in oil and butter. Seasoned between each step with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Yukon gold potatoes par boiled then pan seared in parsley and butter. Akin to the original Wiener Schnitzel.

Batch of pasta sauce. Freeze in small containers. Should last me for a couple of weeks unless I have company.

I installed the new stove today and burned the oil off (I wanted the 36") and my bride is making her killer Mac and Cheese for dinner. It's a tradition when breaking in the new cooker.

Natural gas or propane? I like it! I would take that over an engagement ring any time!
