I think it's like $1100. I want to check it out when LGS start getting them in, looks to have the same ergonomics as the M&P pistols.
Clearly you're not in CA, lol. They used to run close to 2K, now the cheapest around is $1500. $1499,99 if you want to get technical lol.

Gophers? We got lots of them here. Vicious, rabid, just savage creatures.

I shot competitive trap for several years. I wouldn't go 20 gauge pump for trap or skeet. Go with a good semi auto 12 gauge with at least a 30 to 32" barrel and interchangeable chokes.

One of the best entry levels is a Remington 1100 Classic Trap or the competition model. Very dependable and on the lower end of the price range. I have 3 of those among my others and they always performed well. Baretta, Benelli and Browning make some great ones, or you can move up to a good over and under, but price just keeps heading north.

Lol.

My neighbor has a nice way of dealing with them. He's a surgeon so I figure there's some credibility with his actions. He's handed me a pack of Ex Lax chocolates and told me to break off a few pieces and drop it into the gopher hole. They won't come back after they're done shitting their brains out lol.

Thanks. Some background. Was given a Wheelybird trap thrower for my birthday and would like to interest the wife and kids in a little fun activity on the back 40. Afraid the recoil on a 12 would be too much for them.

Would be my first shotgun so don't have any experience but don't want to buy junk either. Looking at the Mossberg Maverick 88 or others up to say $500. Good used shotguns are scarcer than hen's teeth now. Heard the 870 is a good gun as well.

Started shooting skeet when I was 13. And it was with a 20 gauge pump. Not optimal with two birds. Best bet is over under. Still have my Remington 870

I think we're talking about different shotguns. The M&P12 I was referring to is a new shotgun from S&W for 2021.

I have! Actually had a lot of issues with sticking and failures to fire with the DP12. That and it's so much more girth than the ksg. Always wondered if it's double the price because it's like two ksg's combined together size wise lol.

Have my pros and cons with both. Just prefer the ksg.
My DP12 has been reliable 100% of the time

Just missing the zombies!

I've been trying to upload the video associated with those pics in the woods (make shift range)

But I'm not seeing the option for videos from my phone.

Wait, we have a squad? Count me in...

...first stop in case of an apocalypse will be the local national guard base to grab one of these bad boys:

Not particularly fast, but can survive pretty much anything, act as a bulldozer, crane, or tow vehicle, plus can carry 4-5 inside and 30 outside (plus gear). Oh and it also has a full oxycetalene torch set up, refuel / defuel pumping, and a 400+ gallon fuel tank. AND it can generate a smoke screen.

What do you guys think about lasers for firearms? My eyes aren't getting any better. I have laser grips for at least three of my handguns

I've always appreciated the speed of getting on target with IR lasers.

The milliseconds spent focusing on the front sight post or optic reticle when selecting targets seem to be erased when using a laser instead because the laser is "on" the target in your vision.

No need to transition your vision's focus between your dot/sight and target.
