E60 M5, is it worth it?

Hey everyone, was looking to have a discussion on an E60 M5 I am contemplating buying for a hold/flip. Guy will do $6k no less, 186K miles. He has paperwork for the SMG hydraulic unit + rod bearings being done. Car has abs/brake light for rear shock absorber (I know that is a $1500 fix). He gave me the car for the night, am going to get a ppi tomorrow. It is an 07 E60 M5.

It's going to be expensive to maintain if it's gonna be your daily driver and/or you're not mechanically inclined. Good move getting the PPI, as long as the mechanic you're using knows BMWs. Let us know what he says.

Metal shavings in oil filter. I returned the car to the seller!

Good move! Sorry for your disappointment, but there will be others. Consider a "more practical" 550.
