Umm...no. Vettel did his best Hindenburg impression, and took Leclerc down with him. Leclerc moved from P14 to P4, and who knows could’ve had a shot at a podium with how crazy the race was today.

Depends from Honda in 2020 . A red driving suit is possible in 2021, and a silver as well .
But what we saw today from Honda looks very promising...

This (team radio) sounds not promising...

If the drivers are getting Ferrari cars gratis to drive around in as they probably are then a warning to take them away for misdemeanours may work wonders.

You have to be blind to not see that Vettel didn't do anything wrong. He didn't steer. His car was aiming to the right side track limit at the entry on T4 and he was ahead of LEC at the time of the impact.

yeah sure Leclerc didnt give him enough space.. this picture clearly shows right before the contact that Vettel has an additional space almost another car width, and you can double check that he is actually already on the very racing line from the car in front but he wanted more and pushed Leclerc out.. anyone thinks Vettel is right here is a pure fanatic that living in another dimension, detached from reality.. no way to show the right thing to them..
you ll see where this incident will lead the Ferrari dynamics starting from today..

Tactics , speculation or a trap ?

But once they were released ...Ohhh boy . The suspense was on !
Today we saw a fantastic race
hehe yeah mate.. actually Max took that further and going really slow until the start finish line on the second restart.. but both is ok cause leader has a right to do it..

I'm not arguing about track space, as there was plenty of it.

However, Albon's car is already partially down the tapered section in the photo and there appears to be roughly the same distance to the white line as Vettel's car (which is not partially down the tapered section). So, it in fact not clear that he is on the same line as Albon at that point.

I like Vettel and Leclerc almost equally btw. Norris is up there for me too.

Look we can talk about Vet/Lec until the cows come home, what is for sure is that there needs to be some more solid 'code of honour' there concerning on track combat.

there is a perspective on that pic Bartledoo but plenty room is there for Vettel that he wanted more and more.. more likely pushing him further inside to take the advantage of the corner even more for himself.. if you take a look at the onboard of Leclerc from F1TV, Leclerc was already giving Vettel more and more space until he reaches the second half of the track..

you can see how much or how not much track gets narrower on the turn from this pic more clearly.. racing line is a bit away from line until the corner, then most of the drivers makes a bit right to flick the car easier to the left.. you can see what i mean from yesterday's quali clearly..

one way or another race Ferrari's race is ruined more likely Leclerc's.. he was climbing pretty nicely..

Tapers "toward the racing line" I should've more accurately said. I thought it was quite obvious how the track limit moves towards the racing line. Sorry for the confusion. Although I doubt you were confused, but rather being a smart ass

I'll quit dragging this one out though. We can probably agree that the way they race against each other probably isn't good for the team, but it sure is fun to watch

i guess you missed the restart that Max lead mate..
1:38:15 on F1TV to catch it..

as in the rule book..

"39.13 When the clerk of the course decides it is safe to call in the safety car the message "SAFETY
CAR IN THIS LAP" will be sent to all teams via the official messaging system and the car's
orange lights will be extinguished. This will be the signal to the teams and drivers that it will be
entering the pit lane at the end of that lap.
At this point the first car in line behind the safety car may dictate the pace and, if necessary,
fall more than ten car lengths behind it.
In order to avoid the likelihood of accidents before the safety car returns to the pits, from the
point at which the lights on the car are turned out drivers must proceed at a pace which
involves no erratic acceleration or braking nor any other manoeuvre which is likely to endanger
other drivers or impede the restart.
As the safety car is approaching the pit entry the SC boards will be withdrawn and, other than
on the last lap of the race, as the leader approaches the Line the yellow flags will be withdrawn
and a green flag will be displayed at the Line."

as i ve said Max accelerated even later on restart number 2 than Lewis but its still ok..
