They seem very focused on the 0-60 number in this review and keep mentioning the corvette is faster 'in a straight line' without addressing the M4 is trapping higher. The m4 is probably faster on anything other than a standing start. Laptimes seem to show them trading places depending on track layout. They also got an absurdly optioned out m4 vs a track spec c8 in terms of pricing.

People laughed at my when i cross shopped a Mustang PP2 and a 997.2 911. This seems very similar, two different cars you'd not think to cross shop but in reality, you can.

From that review, the back seats in the M4 seem like a huge win but FMD that nose, someone please design an aftermarket fix, it's fucking horrendous.

What do these cars cost moderately specced out?

You have seen the aa midpipe for the f8x? Im sure a g8x version is in the works.
