I agree with you to certain extent. When you think you have a good friend, you gotta ask yourself: Will this person sacrifice his time, his money, even his personal well being in order to be there for you when the time comes? see that's exactly what i'm saying. you can be upfront all you want but if she's the one who is stubborn and simply prefers silent treatment to confrontation. she will be immensely offended by the stupidest thing, won't tell you about it and rather cut you out of her life. is behavior like that worth your time, energy and friendship?

Well Bella....I can understand why you are upset. You like to be real upfront with all kinds of shiznit.

Your friend however...is not able to easily communicate her issues. And from what you described on your first post...sounds like she has been going through alot of shit herself. Sometimes when people that are not able to cope/deal/express their frustrations freely, will completely shut everyone out in times of desperation. She likely does not mean to hurt you...but cannot deal with you and any problems of yours right now...because she is completely overloaded with her own.

I know...should be 2 way street...but fuck that. Hardly ever happens that way when the shit hits the fan. Give her space...she will get over things. That is if you still want to salvage the friendship in the long run. Just sucks you do not have other girls you can rely on while she is taking care of her issues.

that's how life works. Let me tell you about my so-called best friend. So me and this guy were best buds. I used to go to his house pretty much everyday and we'd go hang out and stuff. We were hella close and had each other's back through thick and thin. Then last year's football season he lost $4k. He was gonna double it or nothing and I stopped him cus I thought that if he loses that'd be $8,000 in losses. So he agreed and didnt bet on it. Turned out that if he went with it, he woulda won.

So in the end I felt bad but it was logical for me to stop him then. We were still cool, no hard feelings. I tried hella hard to help him come up with the money and shit. All his other friends couldnt loan him cus they "didnt ahve any money". So I helped him come up with $4k but not the last $2k cus I ran out of people to borrow from (in the end he lost another $2k so it was 6 total). I told him the only people left are his parents but if they know they'd be hella pissed. But there was no other way so he told them. They give him the $2k to pay it off.

The thing was I was in the middle of him and the guy I place the bet with (not the bookie). So when he gave the money to me his mom was with him. She thought it was my fault that he lost the money. His parents were hella pissed off at me and so I couldnt come over anymore. So then I havent seen the dude for like 6 months. We went from hanging out everyday to not seeing each other for half a year. And the funny thing was...I did nothing wrong...

well as a good friend you gotta realize that some people aren't gonna be constant... i mean they're gonna move around and take obstacles as they come... if anything you should support her and understand that she loves you abut is beginning to prioritize other things as she encounters them...

So.. update...

Ive emailed her, texted her, called her and she isnt returning any of my messages. I didnt sugarcoat the email- i told her straight up that i have no idea why she hasnt tried calling or atleast letting me know what her problems is, IF she even has one. But i find it strange that after all we went through, she doesnt have the decency to explain herself. My other best friend shannon, whom ive known since i was 13, lives up in LA with her boyfriend and goes to Law school- yet we talk atleast 5x a week. Whether it be through IM, Text, Phone..etc. I thought trang was different, i thought we had a solid friendship. If we had a big fight, then atleast there are no mysteries. Even my parents think its unusual since she lived with us for 4 months and helped out at our restaurant.

But if this is how she wants to say goodbye, then i guess so be it. I never would have thought id leave for NY like this. But i guess you never know who your true friends are.
