Same here. Rum, yes. Whiskey, not so much.

Incredible!
The experience was added to, as it was served by a butler at the Travellers Club on Pall Mall in London. We were in a private parlour sitting in old stuffed leather chairs, and the room was lined with ancient book shelves and books, dark wood and tapestries. Edit: one more thing that is quite fun, the private club invests in thousands of cases of wine each year that will prospectively age well, and do not charge street price for members for their aged vintages. That bottle was £25. Street price is well over that. Last edited by larryn; 10-03-2016 at 02:39 PM.. |

Opened the Basil Hayden's tonight. Not bad at all, but I like the Four Roses better.

Stopping by the liquor store on the way home, looking for Irish Whiskey. Will probably get Bush Black, unless they have a great sale price on something else.

After the day I've had (see FWP thread), I'll be finishing off the Basil's tonight.

Allen threw 13 pitches to the last two batters (Leon and Pedroia). Only one was a strike or even close to the plate. The others were in the dirt or way outside. Still, both batters struck out. They'd have been better off just resting the bat on their shoulders.
