M3 seats, one has been submerged in water, where can I take to dispose of?
I have two M3 seats from my M3 before I installed my Recaro Sportsters. I had them laying in a way that when my basement flooded about 6 inches ones back was completely underwater, so I don't want to sell someone a problem, where can I take to dispose of?
I know first guess would be a state dump, but these seats have airbags all throughout, so basically explosives.... Where do you guys LEGALLY dump your car seats?

I think you’re fine to take them to the dump. They won’t be ignited and in the scheme of a dump, it wouldn’t hurt anything if they did. They only expand like 2 feet and the handlers there use big equipment. Def don’t sell them to someone

since they were do powered during flood and water wasn't from sea they are almost ok, only require cleaning
all automotive parts are designed with some resistance to water
