2008 535i Transmission help

Hey everyone,

My car has been having issues with it's AT. it has been starting to slip on high load and I want to put another tranny in the car. I've been having trouble on seeing if I can actually find a proper transmission for my car. If my research has been correct. I think I have the zf6hp26?? Or is it the 6hp21. Is it possible to put a 6hp19 from a 335i into my car? Any more info about transmissions in these cars and what I can do would help out a lot. Thanks!!

Use bimmercat you can find what transmission you have there Thru Vin.
In The GTA you can find a tranny for 300-700$ CAD Zf6hp-19/21

I was able to find out I have the 6hp-19z transmission. Thank you! What is "GTA?" Is that a separate website?

No its a area Greater Toronto Area. But if you try car-part.com you can find them there for decent price
