I don’t know what happened up to that point but you never know what people have gone through. Gotta try to understand vs escalating and making ppl feel even worse.

This. He was being needled.

He needs medical/psychiatric attention. That is not the behavior of a well-adjusted person.

Agreed. The recorder knew that he pushed to far and only had "wow" to say, once the realization kicked in.

Nah I don't think so. I think the recorder was a jackass and hadn't given up. There was no remorse in his tone.

Both people need help. Specifically for the recorder - a strong right, followed by an upper left.

Yeah. That is pretty sad.
The kid is obviously on the spectrum. And the recorder is an ass.

This...pretty sick that the recorder kept pushing him. Unfortunately I think there are A LOT of these people out there.

This....I'm not sure how you see that and NOT realize that's a disorder and that he was entirely overwhelmed with the situation. No god damned empathy at all.

I usually lead with a feint right then double up on the left jab when practicing...

Absolutely nothing funny about this. Nothing. Shame on the guy recording this and then actually putting it on the internet.

Saying and intending to the the right thing is elementary on both sides. It's easy to say the recorder is the worst human on earth, right?

Would it be out of the question to think that maybe the recorder is also acting irrational based off his current situation?

Could this be an example of two people encountering stress and coping with it in real time based off their skillset?

Nah, the guy recording and prodding someone who wasnt confrontational at first and obviously has some issue is a POS and the OP is on the same spectrum for bringing it here to try and laugh about it.

Not the worst person on earth, but still garbage for doing this.

I don't think so--he put it on the internet. Is that also part of his coping mechanism?

The guy's clearly a bully--the worst kind. Looking for his viral moment on twatter or freakbook....

Pushing your kids nose into a mistake they made until they melt down is a good technique for establishing in them ownership of tasks and the importance of doing a job correctly the first time.

However, it's useless on grown adults. I see people try it all the time, usually in line in front of me while I'm waiting for a service then I have to intervene and ask them to go parent somewhere else I have places to be.

The guy filming is a douche. But today with everyone having the ability make a news story with their phone, why does surprise anyone.

As for the employee who reacted like this. What do you do as an employer? Were they aware that this employee could possibly react like this to stressful situations? We've all seen counter workers get abused verbally. Some handle it like a champ, and some have a breakdown. If the employer knew this employee was emotionally unstable, why put them in a work position where they could possibly harm them self or others.

I disagree!
We don't have any idea what led up to this.
It looks like the graveyard shift. I wonder if the clerk was too high to do his job, and the customer didn't control his annoyance too well.
We don't know.
But no need to put it on the innernet.

Until they melt down? I completely disagree with that. That's not teaching, and for children it can have dire consequences.

Push your things to their limits and beyond, but not people.
