Hello guys, i'm new on this E60 forum. I do like to buy soon an E60 but my mind is in doubt since of the engines on the E60. I want to buy an 530i manual not xi.

From my knowledge m54b30 engines are stronger but i don't know if they can be pushed to the power of the newest engine on 530i e60 series , i mean those N52/N53. I know last engine is n53b30 with 272hp and i do like to know if the M54B30 can reach that potential without putting money of a house in the engine,and of course which one are more good for pushing/abusing lol. I don't buy the car for crazy things,i want to buy it for myself and i want to know which 530i are more good than other, my choices are

530i - M54B30 231HP 2003 - 2005
530i - N52B30 258HP 2005 - 2007
530i - N53b30 272HP 2007 - 2010.

So guys please tell me which one are good for lifespan,abusing, consumption of petrol, etc. And yeah if the m54b30 can pe bushed for N/A tuning for 270 - 300 hp with bore/intake/exhaust etc. Which one worth the money ? Thank you very much.
