CCC idrive info needed

Hi i have a 2005 e60 520d it has the basic idrive system no nav no aux or usb , no my question is i have heard of some upgrades for the retrofit costing £900 and above . Is it not a option to by the next stage up CCC with navigation and aux and simply swap and plug and play ??

You may have to code for the CCC navigation. The latest OEM system was the CIC with combo box. I just did the CIC, Combo ox, and apple CarPlay retrofit. Car looks completely OEM CIC and has CarPlay and Android. Had to have it remotely coded by BimmerTech.
